On May 9, 2018, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Guo Shaochun and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Aca Jovanovic of Serbia held the second round of consular consultation in Beijing. Both sides comprehensively evaluated on and spoke positively of the implementation situation of the Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports which came into effect in January, 2017, and exchanged in-depth views on such topics as facilitating personnel exchanges and safeguarding the security and legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
