The ongoing World Athletics Championships Budapest 23 has introduced a unique feature to their event with the introduction of smart translator and recorder devices, manufactured by the Chinese technology company iFlytek.

As the Official Event Supplier of the World Athletics Championships Budapest 23, iFlytek provides smart translators that support athletes and volunteers in over 60 languages, as well as smart recorders for media representatives' daily interviewing and transcription needs.

To simplify the device distribution process, iFlytek has established service desks at three of the athletes' accreditation hotels and the media center of the Hungarian National Athletic Centre, ensuring convenient and efficient access to these devices for users.

One remarkable instance of the device's utility was observed when a Yemenis athlete successfully completed his athlete registration process using an iFlytek smart translator. The athlete spoke Arabic, while the event's volunteers primarily spoke Hungarian and English. The smart translator helped bridge the language gap, ensuring a smooth and seamless registration process.

At the media center, iFlytek set up a service desk to assist journalists with any issues related to the smart recorders. Journalists from countries like Germany, Italy, Turkey, Romania and Japan have all reported positive experiences with the smart recorder.
