Slovakia is the guest country of honor at the fourth China-Central and Eastern European Countries Expo held in Ningbo this week. On Thursday afternoon, the Slovak national pavilion officially opened. Over twenty companies from the country are participating this year, showcasing its famous beverages, handicrafts and automobile industries. 

PETER LIZAK Slovak Ambassador to China "Slovakia is presenting itself as a modern country with advanced technologies, and we have been presenting producers who are very active in this regard. The second part is our consumer products with the crystal, with some products from the medicine sphere. The third one is the presentation of Slovak tourism. These are the three main components of the exhibition. Main message is the cooperation in the sphere of automotive industry. The good news for our collaboration is that a new investment is prepared in Slovakia. The Swedish company, Volvo will up next year produce 300,000 electric cars in the east Slovakia and in Volvo, the main investor is a Chinese company Geely. So this is a huge impulse for further cooperation."
