Premier Li Keqiang responded positively to the Bulgarian president’s proposal of establishing the Sofia Research Center for “16+1” Cooperation during his visit to Bulgaria on July 6.
At their meeting, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev proposed the establishment of the Sofia Research Center for “16+1” Cooperation to seek a win-win situation for EU policies and “16+1” cooperation.
Premier Li said the research center would be an important bridge connecting EU laws and regulations and “16+1” cooperation. It would help eliminate confusion from the outside world, and also provide a consulting report to relative “16+1” cooperation mechanisms to solve specific problems.
He added that China is willing to study and push ahead with the proposal.
