Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao Meets with Representatives and Diplomatic Envoys from 16 Central and Eastern European Countries Attending China-Central & Eastern Europe Cultural Cooperation Forum

On May 15, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao met in the Foreign Ministry with principal officials of cultural departments of and diplomatic envoys from 16 Central and Eastern European countries, who are the guests for China-Central and Eastern Europe Cultural Cooperation Forum.



Song congratulated the China-Central & Eastern Europe Cultural Cooperation Forum on its great success. Song said China and Central and Eastern European countries enjoy a long history of friendship as well as splendid culture, and they can learn from each other through exchanges and cooperation to deepen understanding and promote cooperation. China is ready to work with the Central and Eastern European countries to continuously push cooperation in culture and other fields for fruitful results.



The guests thanked the Chinese side for the meticulous organization and warm reception, saying that the Forum will open a new chapter in cultural cooperation between the two sides. The Central and Eastern European countries will make joint efforts with China to build more projects on cultural exchanges and cooperation and to actively promote practical cooperation.
