Dazzling gold accessories, soothing perfumes, potteries and marble statues — these are among a variety of objects that once adorned many aspects of life of people of ancient Greece.

Five years ago, at The Countless Aspects of Beauty exhibition, they impressed visitors to the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, shedding light on the dynamics of a civilization that cast profound, long-standing influence.

Now a selection of artifacts from this well-acclaimed show has traveled to the National Museum of China in Beijing, opening the eyes and hearts of the audience here to a world and culture thriving millenniums ago.

It chronicles the varied interpretations of "beauty", the core theme of the exhibition, underlying which the social values and cultural contexts evolved from the Neolithic period up to late Antiquity.
