Bulgaria, China to discuss mechanisms to strengthen cooperation

SOFIA, April 23 -- Bulgaria and China will specify projects and mechanisms for strengthening bilateral economic ties, officials said on Wednesday.
The 15th session of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation from April 28 to 30 in Beijing will see both delegations discuss possibilities to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, energy, agriculture, transport and infrastructure, a Bulgarian government statement said.
The two countries will also specify projects and mechanisms for collaboration.
The leader of Bulgaria and China agreed on boosting ties last year at the World Economic Forum in Dalian, and at the meeting of the heads of government of China and Central and Eastern European countries in Bucharest.
