China Brand Fair a success in Budapest

The 2019 China Brand Fair (Central and Eastern Europe) and 2019 Discover the Hometown of Confucius: Shandong Cultural Trade (CEE) Exhibition both kicked off in Budapest, Hungary on June 3, Xinhua reported. The fair aims to boost economic and trade cooperation between China and Central and East European countries, and to improve the influence of Chinese brand in the region. Liu Bo, the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, said the country has a geographical advantage and a crucial role in jointly building the Belt and Road. He indicated Hungary could be a distribution center for Chinese brands to enter Central and Eastern Europe, and even the entire continent. Milan Krstovic, a Serbian export sales manager attending the fair for the second time, said China's market has broad prospects, and he hoped to find a business partner to help him enter China's market. More than 300 enterprises participated in the three-day event, which was sponsored by the China's Ministry of Commerce.
