Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman says China remains an important partner for the European Union. He says Croatia's relations with China have grown stronger in recent years, and China is a key partner for Croatia's Peljesac Bridge project. While holding a dialogue at the Center for China and Globalization in Beijing, Radman said China and the EU should stand together in support of multilateralism. During Tuesday's event, our reporter You Yang asked Radman about the future of China-Croatia relations.
YOU YANG CGTN Reporter "Thank you. I have two questions. The first one is Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with you on Monday. How will you comment on the results of this visit to China? The second one is in recent years, China and Croatia have deepened cooperation in the field of economy and trade. So how do you see the future prospects of the development of China-Croatia, as well as China-Central and Eastern Europe relations?"
GORDAN GRLIC RADMAN Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs "I like these questions very much. It's a bit pity I am a 60-year-old minister but this is my first visit to China. I don't mean to complain about the works of our ambassador. He wanted me to come even earlier. But really I am happy (to be here). The second question, I've seen huge potentials between our two countries. We are about to organize a business forum by the end of the year. There are so many of areas of our common interests. So given our geopolitical position, we are happy to be here. We can offer, we can offer that to every one that Croatia can be an enter point to the European market."
