SOFIA, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- An intergovernmental association has published a series of handbooks to help entrepreneurs in the Central and Eastern European countries (CEECs) boost commercial ties with China, an official said here on Wednesday.

The Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries (APACCCEEC) wrote and published the handbooks to share the knowledge it has accumulated over the years regarding the general trade and e-commerce with China, Vasil Gelev, Director of the APACCCEEC, said at a press conference.

The series, named "Young Entrepreneurs," contains three handbooks focused on trademark and brand registration in China, sending samples from CEECs to China, and e-commerce between China and the CEECs, respectively, Gelev said.

The series would continue next year with handbooks about setting up online shop based on WeChat, Gelev said.

The next handbooks in the pipeline are about organic products and their certification, he added.

Gelev said that everyone could produce a particular product, but it's challenging to meet the needs of a specific market.

"Given the size of the Chinese market and the long-term prospects it has, I think it is worthwhile to deepen our knowledge," he said.

Despite the name "Young Entrepreneurs," the handbooks are not just for young people, Gelev said.

"They are aimed at anyone who wants to acquire knowledge," he said. "In Bulgaria, we are all young in terms of trade with China."

Established at the intergovernmental level in Sofia in June 2015, the APACCCEEC coordinates the activities of the ministries on the one hand and the businesses on the other.
