Forum on Standards Interconnecting China-CEEC Cooperation and Development, conducted in the form of online and offline combination, was held in China Jiliang University on June 9, 2020.

More than 1,000 people subscribed the live stream, including experts and scholars from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Poland and other countries, to discuss how the standard power can help epidemic prevention and recovering order of production and life, and help China-CEEC cooperation and development.

In 2019, the trade volume between Zhejiang and CEECs totalled more than 84 billion yuan (about 12 billion USD). To further deepen cooperation and exchanges with CEECs, their recognition of quality and standards is essential.

With policy, infrastructure, trade, financial and people-to-people connectivity among countries along the Belt and Road, economic and trade exchanges are becoming more frequent, and cooperation and exchanges are expanding. The prosperity of economic and trade exchanges cannot be separated from the quality recognition of countries and regions along the Belt and Road.

Standards are the fruits of human civilization and the language that connects the world. Nowadays, with economic globalization, standards are important means for national governance, and international economic, trade, cultural and technological exchanges.
