  1989 - 1990    1st Secretary of the Press Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania;

  1989 - 1991    Analyst of foreign affairs of the "Respublika" daily newspaper;

  1990 - 1991    1st Secretary of the Regions Division of the MFA of Lithuania;

  1991      Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Poland; Head of the Information Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania in the Republic of Poland;
