Chinese Ambassador Shen Zhifei Visited County of Istria

Ambassador of China to the Republic of Croatia Shen Zhifei visited County of Istria from 11th to 12th November. During his visit Shen also opened the exhibition of contemporary Chinese art in Porec.
Among others, Shen met with county head Valter Flego and major of Porec Edi Stifanic. They discussed strengthening cultural exchanges , increase economic and trade cooperation and promoting cooperation between the two countries on a practical level.
Shen and Stifanic opened together The Green Box Exhibition at Istrian Parliament (Istarska sabornica) in Pore？. It's the same exhibition of Chinese contemporary art which had been recently opened also in Zagreb, Croatian capital. This is the first exhibition with works of art from China in one of Istrian towns. Opening ceremony was attended by 500 guests and whole event was well covered by the media, including Croatian Radiotelevision, Radio Istria and Istria TV.
During his visit to Istria Shen Zhifei met with representatives of various social circles and local residents.
