Chinese Ambassador Ji Ping met with the Serb Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, on July 2, 2020.

Ji first conveyed President Xi Jinping's sincere greetings to President Dodick and thanked him for his firm support for the implementation of China's national security legislation in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Ji said in the face of the challenge of COVID-19, China and BiH have helped each other in times of difficulty, which fully reflects the friendly relations between the two countries and the profound friendship between the two peoples.

China is ready to further strengthen practical cooperation with BiH, and is looking forward to the early implementation of major projects in infrastructure, health, energy and other sectors so as to boost the country's post-COVID-19 economic development.

President Dodik asked Ambassador Ji to pass his high respect and good wishes to President Xi, saying that BiH has always firmly supported China's sovereignty and territorial integrity and supported China's efforts in safeguarding national security and people's interests. BiH is ready to work with China to further deepen pragmatic cooperation in all fields and push bilateral relations to a new level.
