Also on Thursday, the delegation paid a visit to Sina, one of the largest Internet corporations in China. Journalists were surprised and impressed by the innovative de-velopment of new-media, especially upon learning that Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like microblogging platform and Sina's flagship product, was listed in NASDAQ that day.

Experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences introduce the current situation of the Chinese economy to journalists from Central and Eastern European countries on Thursday, April 17 2014.
In addition, the delegation expressed great interests in the Chinese economy. When meeting with experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, or CASS they were updated on the current situation of the Chinese economy and China's trade relations with Central and Eastern European countries.
As for multilateral trade relations, Professor Liu Zuokui with CASS said that while Central and Eastern European countries are not major investment destinations for China, they are showing increasing weight in China's 'going global' strategy.
