Hungarian deputy state secretary Odor Balint said Tuesday that his country is willing to cooperate more closely with China, especially in the field of tourism.
Odor is in Beijing to attend the 3rd National Coordinators' Meeting for Cooperation between China and CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) Countries.
He said Hungary will continue to enhance the bilateral cooperation with China and prioritize implementing the Bucharest Guidelines for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries.
He revealed an association consisting of tourism promotion institutions and travel agencies from both China and CEE countries will be inaugurated on May 21, expected to give new momentums to China-CEE tourism cooperation.
As Hungary's coordinator for China-CEE cooperation, Odor also suggested the two sides work together for the launch of a direct air link between Beijing and Budapest, which he believes will help further boost China-Hungary tourism cooperation.
