Gao Hucheng announces main achievements from Ministerial Conference of China and Central and Eastern European Countries on Promoting Trade and Economic Cooperation．
On June 8th , Ministerial Conference of China and Central and Eastern European Countries on Promoting Trade and Economic Cooperation was satisfactorily closed in Ningbo. After the meeting, Gao Hucheng, the Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and other CEEC ministers responsible for trade attended the press conference to introduce related information of the meeting and answer reporters' questions.
Gao Hucheng announced main achievements made in this meeting as follows:
First, CEEC and China agreed to further enhance the exchanges and cooperation among competent departments responsible for trade in these countries. Based on the fundamental principle of mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit and complementary advantages, we should take the opportunity of reconstruction of "economic belt of the Silk Road" and " the Silk Road on the sea in 21 century" in order to enhance the level of economic and trade cooperation and promote the mutual development and prosperity.
Second, CEEC and China agreed to deeply exploit commerce potentialities and expand the trade scale.
Third, CEEC and China agreed to continue promote the investment cooperation in order to realize the fast increase of mutual investment among CEEC countries and China.
Fourth, CEEC and China agreed to give full play to mechanisms, for example as Expert Advisory Committee of construction of the transportation network of China and Central and Eastern European Countries and promote the governments of CEEC and enterprises by means of bilateral and multilateral cooperation to enhance exchanges and cooperation in the fields of construction of infrastructure such as railways, electric power, ports, highways.
Fifth, CEEC and China agreed to promote free trade and be opposed to all the forms of trade protectionism, encourage to use dialogues and negotiations to solve the trade friction and promote trade relations between CEEC countries and China into a healthy and stable development.  
Sixth, CEEC and China agreed to further promote trade and investment facilitation. 
Besides, CEEC and China also agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields such as finance, tourism, logistics and local cooperation.
Finally, Gao Hucheng said that this meeting was held in a friendly, cooperative and constructive atmosphere, which reached the consensus of cooperation achievements, confirmed the direction of cooperation and obtained the expected achievements. It is believed that this conference will make positive promotion for further economic and trade cooperation of CEEC countries and China.
