2018/07/08

Premier Li Keqiang said Chinese enterprises will carry forward economic and trade cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) through fair competition.

He made the remarks when addressing the opening ceremony of the eighth China-CEEC Economic and Trade Forum on July 7 in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria.

The Premier said Chinese enterprises will carry out cooperation with CEE countries in an open and transparent manner, complying with EU rules and regulations and following the principle of fair competition. All projects will be subject to competitive bidding.

Chinese enterprises do not fear any competition, as they have grown up in an international competitive environment. Competition will enable them to reduce costs and raise efficiency while promoting upgrades in Chinese industries.
