On December 12, 2023, the Secretariat of Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) held a briefing to the CEEC embassies in China. Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs Ambassador Jiang Yu hosted the meeting. CEEC diplomatic envoys and diplomats to China were present.

Special Representative Jiang Yu briefed all parties on the positive progress made in various fields of cooperation between China and CEEC ("Cooperation") this year and a number of practical measures introduced by members of the Chinese side and had an exchange of views on how to promote "Cooperation" in the next step and other issues with all parties.

All parties attending the meeting spoke positively of the latest progress in "Cooperation" and expressed their willingness to strengthen communication and coordination with China to continuously tap the potential of "Cooperation" and jointly promote the sound and steady growth of "Cooperation".
