On August 19, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Croatia Qi Qianjin met with Dražen Holmik, the newly appointed Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Representative Office in China. Ambassador Qi congratulated him on assuming his new post. He noted that China-Croatia relations are flourishing, presenting important opportunities for bilateral cooperation. China stands ready to further expand channels for cultural and tourism exchanges with Croatia and deepen friendship between the two peoples.

Mr. Holmik stated that this marks his second assignment in China. He will strive to tap into cooperation potential and deliver more tangible outcomes for bilateral cultural-tourism cooperation.
