Ambassador Kang Yan met with Leon Korošec, State Secretary  of Slovenia's Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Sport, on October 27.

Ambassador Kang said China-Slovenia trade and economic relations are gaining momentum and the two countries' industrial structures are complementary. China is ready to work with Slovenia to make full use of the intergovernmental consultation mechanism, deepen political mutual trust, unlock cooperation potential and build greater resilience into bilateral ties, so as to deliver more benefits to both peoples.

Korošec spoke positively of China's economic outlook and said he will lead a Slovenian government trade delegation to China for the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to promote mutual cooperation and  bilateral relations as a whole.
