On 12 March 2026, Ambassador Kang Yan visited Ajdovščina. She talked with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Primorska and other regional chambers. She also paid an on-site visit to Leone d.o.o., the largest ice-cream producer in Slovenia.

Ambassador Kang exchanged views on topics including further strengthening bilateral cooperation and promoting businesses in the Chinese market.
