On July 3, 2024, Ambassador to Croatia Qi Qianjin visited the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts（CASA） and held talks with President Velimir Neidhardt and Secretary General Dario Vretenar.

Ambassador Qi stated that China, Croatia, and Europe are currently facing common challenges such as geopolitical conflicts, green transformation and climate change, and international cooperation is an essential way to address these challenges. Hope to work with CASA to create an open, fair, just, and non-discriminatory international environment for scientific and technological development, and promote science, technology and innovation cooperation including policy dialogue and alignment and personnel  exchanges.

President Neidhardt stated that both China and Croatia are making continuous progress in basic research. CASA is willing to strengthen cooperation with Chinese institutions and deepen scientific and cultural exchanges to address our common challenges.
