On the afternoon of Aug. 26, 2026, Shaanxi Xueqian Normal University and the University of Pécs in Hungary held an online meeting on a joint education program. Participants from Shaanxi Xueqian Normal University included officials from the Office of International Exchange and External Cooperation; Professor Zhang Wanli, head of the psychology program; Zhang Qi, head of the psychology teaching and research section; Yang Yang, project manager; and Amy, project coordinator. Participants from the University of Pécs included Dr. Zoltán Vörös, deputy dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor András Láng, director of the Institute of Psychology; Vanda Bőczin-Sirkeci, head of the faculty's International Office; and Dr. Ádám Putz, head of the international undergraduate psychology program.

The two sides held in-depth exchanges on matters related to the joint education program. They communicated fully on topics including their intentions and relevant policies, admission requirements, the education model and degree-awarding requirements. The official in charge of Shaanxi Xueqian Normal University's Office of International Exchange and External Cooperation introduced the university's history and achievements in international exchange and cooperation, while Zhang Wanli and Zhang Qi discussed the psychology curriculum and faculty with their counterparts. The two sides also exchanged views on specific matters including program operation and management, curriculum alignment and teaching assignments.

The meeting laid a sound foundation for the two universities to develop substantive cooperation on a joint education program in psychology. Both sides expressed a strong willingness to continue advancing the cooperation, agreed to remain in communication and refine the cooperation plan, and committed to jointly cultivating high-caliber, application-oriented professionals with a global perspective.
