On October 18, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia made its first appearance at “The World for Children” Festival in Bratislava, engaging warmly with children and parents from Slovakia and many other countries, and the venue was filled with warmth and laughter.

The Embassy showcased exquisite Chinese handicrafts on site and set up cultural experience activities such as tie-dyeing, rubbing technique, calligraphy, paper-cutting, and bead stringing. It also engaged with visitors through quizzes with prizes, yangqin (Chinese dulcimer) performances, and picture-book reading, allowing Chinese culture to flow through fingertips, resonate in the melodies of the instrument, and seep into hearts through the written word. Young diplomats in panda costumes greeted visitors warmly; their endearing appearance made them the "stars" of group photos at the event. Many came as whole families lingered at the booths, reluctant to leave.

This annual large-scale family charity event in Bratislava attracts thousands of participants and builds a bridge of friendship for children from various countries to get to know one another and become friends.
