Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Montenegro
2026/08/14

Under the Decree Amending the Decree on the Visa Regime adopted by the Government of Montenegro on July 23, 2026, nationals of China, Belarus, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye will be required to obtain visas to enter Montenegro as of November 1, 2026. Until October 31, 2026, nationals of the five countries may continue to enter Montenegro under the current rules.

The Chinese Embassy in Montenegro hereby reminds Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports or passports for public affairs that, if they plan to travel to Montenegro on or after November 1, 2026, they should obtain a Montenegrin visa in advance to avoid entry difficulties that could disrupt their travel plans. For more information on Montenegro’s visa policy and visa applications, please consult the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro or contact the Embassy of Montenegro in China.
