On September 24, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Slovenia held a reception marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the PRC. Around 300 guests attended, including the President’s advisers on international relations and foreign policy, state secretaries from the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Defence, former dignitaries, foreign diplomats, and representatives of Chinese companies, students and overseas Chinese.

In her remarks, Ambassador Kang Yan said that over the past 77 years, the CPC has led the Chinese people in creating the two miracles of rapid economic development and long-term social stability. Facing profound global changes, China continues to share the dividends of development with the world and inject positive energy through the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind and the Four Global Initiatives. China stands ready to work with Slovenia to consolidate political mutual trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the sound and stable development of bilateral relations.

Guests spoke highly of China’s great achievements and expected more results in all areas of cooperation. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.
