On October 18, the Chinese Embassy in Croatia organized a visit for Chinese students studying in Croatia to the Senj Wind Farm Project, operated by NORINCO International. More than ten students from the University of Zagreb and Zagreb School of Economics and Management took part in the visit.
Ding Decai, the project’s operations and maintenance manager, guided the students on a tour of the substation and wind farm, providing a detailed introduction to the project’s investment, construction, operation and maintenance. He highlighted how, under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese enterprises have actively expanded into overseas markets, contributed to local infrastructure development and engaged in green energy cooperation, achieving both economic benefits and social value.
The students expressed their pride and enthusiasm at the growing international influence of Chinese enterprises and Chinese manufacturing. They actively asked questions and engaged in discussions, saying that they would strive to enhance their knowledge and capabilities and contribute to China’s development and friendship and exchanges between China and other countries.
Since 2024, the Chinese Embassy in Croatia has organized visits to Chinese-funded enterprises for Chinese students in Croatia for three consecutive years. These visits provide a platform for students to broaden their horizons and gain practical experience, while further strengthening their patriotism and commitment to contributing to their country.
