Ambassador Kang Yan visited Slovenia's largest pharmaceutical company Krka and the carmaker Revoz on October 23, meeting Jože Colarič, President of the Management Board of Krka, and Jože Bele, Chief Executive Officer of Revoz.

Ambassador Kang said China's economy is thriving and its policy of high-level opening-up remains firm. Pharmaceuticals and carmaking are pillar industries in Slovenia, and she hoped the two leading companies will seize the opportunities created by the implementation of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, achieve greater growth by deepening cooperation with China and contribute more to China-Slovenia cooperation.

Colarič and Bele both spoke highly of China's development achievements and expressed optimism about the Chinese market, saying their companies are ready to expand investment in China, strengthen  industrial and supply chain linkages and pursue win-win results with Chinese partners.
