Diplomats from CEECs came into a live-stream studio in Ningbo, East China’s Zhejiang province, to promote their products to Chinese audience on June 9, 2020.

The diplomats’ marketing activity is one of the most important ones of CEE cloud goods exhibition 2020 in Ningbo, setting up an online CEE pavilion and exhibition hall for overseas exhibitors and buyers to attend.

The first China-CEEC Expo is held successfully in Ningbo in 2019, raising many CEEC businesses’ expectation on this cloud exhibition. The diplomats believed that cross-border e-commerce, a new form of trade, will help solve the problem of commodity exports as the global epidemic has hampered sales of products.

"We hope to open the Chinese market with high-quality overseas goods during the special period and to help CEECs set up a new channel." said Mao Bei, head of the e-commerce platform of Pinduoduo's CEE program. And "diplomat promotion" truly combines the exhibition and sales needs of various countries with the needs of consumers, by "hanging out while playing" through technology application such as live-stream exhibition hall and big data analysis. By the end of the live stream, more than 2 million people had watched it.

Some e-commerce platforms are planning to try more live-stream styles in the future to expand overseas online shopping product categories, so that consumers will be able to "pick up" good brands around the world without leaving their homes.
