On 20 November 2024, Ambassador Qi Qianjin met with Mr. Andro Krstulović Opara, Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Croatian Parliament.

Ambassador Qi said China and Croatia have a profound traditional friendship, and the comprehensive cooperative partnership between the two countries has been enriched increasingly in recent years, marked by flagship project of Peljesac Bridge. Qi added that the National People’s Congress of China has long maintained good interactions with the Croatian Parliament and is willing to further deepen cooperation.

Mr. Andro Krstulović Opara said China and Croatia are good friends and good partners, and Croatia attaches great importance to its relations with China in various fields, including cooperation between legislative bodies,to enhance the friendship between the two peoples.
