On 7 October 2026, Kang Yan, Chinese Ambassador to Slovenia, met with Kokot, Chair of the Parliamentary Group of the Slovenian Truth Party, and Polajner, Advisor to the Office of the Speaker.

Ambassador Kang elaborated on the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, especially the vivid practices and unique strengths of whole-process people’s democracy. She stated that China stands ready to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with Slovenia to further advance China-Slovenia relations.

Chair Kokot spoke about Slovenia’s unique geographical location advantages and expressed readiness to boost exchanges with China and deepen bilateral cooperation.
