On 14 October 2026, Qi Qianjin, Chinese Ambassador to Croatia, held a farewell meeting with Gordan Grlić Radman, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia.

Ambassador Qi briefly reviewed the positive progress and practical outcomes of China-Croatia exchanges and cooperation in political, economic, trade, and people-to-people and cultural fields in recent years, and thanked the Croatian side for its strong support for the performance of his duties. He stated that China and Croatia respect each other’s core interests, and expressed confidence that under the strategic guidance of the two countries’ leaders, China-Croatia relations will make new progress.

Minister Radman spoke highly of Ambassador Qi’s hard-work and his efforts to advance Croatia-China relations, and expressed expectation that bilateral relations will yield more fruit.
