Ambassador Lu Shan Addresses Warsaw-Beijing University Student Forum
2026/10/28

Ambassador Lu Shan addressed the opening of the 11th Warsaw-Beijing University Student Forum on October 24, introducing the four global initiatives proposed by China. Themed “Shaping a New Global Era Together”, the forum was co-hosted by the University of Warsaw and China University of Political Science and Law, drawing more than 100 scholars, teachers and students from both countries.

Lu said no country can stand alone in the face of global challenges. The Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative and Global Governance Initiative put forward by China offer Chinese solutions to the problems of our time and contribute Chinese wisdom to a new type of international relations featuring mutual respect, fairness, justice and win-win cooperation. China's 15th Five-Year Plan dovetails with Poland's 2035 Development Strategy, he said, and the two countries should use the 10th anniversary of their comprehensive strategic partnership to better align their development strategies and let the fruits of bilateral cooperation benefit the people. He encouraged young people from both countries to make full use of the forum to deepen mutual understanding and contribute to steady progress in China-Poland relations.
