Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Beata Szydlo of Poland

 On the afternoon of November 27, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Beata Szydlo of Poland at the hotel where he stayed in Budapest.

  Li Keqiang expressed that China-Poland relations enjoy healthy and stable development at present. It is hoped that both sides could give full play to the role of inter-governmental cooperation committee mechanism between both countries, conduct overall planning on exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and strive to do more and get things done. Poland will take up the post of a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council next year, and China is willing to enhance communication and coordination with Poland on international affairs.

  Li Keqiang pointed out that China is ready to, together with Poland, better integrate development strategies, and strengthen cooperation in transportation, logistics, infrastructure construction and other areas. China will continue expanding opening up to the outside world, in a bid to create better conditions for deepening bilateral economic, trade and inter-enterprise cooperation. China will host the first China International Import Expo in 2018, and welcomes Poland to take this opportunity to enhance promotion of export products to China, and boost balanced development of bilateral trade, so as to better achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

  Beata Szydlo said that Poland attaches importance to its relations with China, and hopes to give play to the role of bilateral inter-governmental cooperation committee, explore cooperative potential in economy, trade and investment, and reinforce mutually beneficial cooperation in such areas as infrastructure construction, logistics and agriculture. The "16+1 cooperation" is a beneficial supplement to Poland-China relations, which is conducive to the development of Poland and the Central and Eastern European countries. Poland stands ready to make joint efforts with China to boost the "16+1 cooperation" for greater outcomes.
