On the morning of November 28, 2017 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev of Macedonia at the hotel where he stayed in Budapest.

　　Li Keqiang expressed that China-Macedonia relations enjoy sound development, and both countries have carried out fruitful cooperation under the framework of the "16+1 cooperation." China appreciates Macedonia's firm adherence to the one-China policy, and is willing to, together with the Macedonian side, consolidate mutual trust, enhance cooperation, and take the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Macedonia next year as an opportunity to push bilateral relations for new development.

　　Li Keqiang pointed out that China is ready to better integrate development strategies with Macedonia, and boost bilateral cooperation in transportation infrastructure construction and other areas. It is hoped that Macedonia can give play to its own advantages and take an active participation in the construction of the China-Europe Land-Sea Express Line. China also would like to explore cooperation with Macedonia in new industries such as digital economy.

　　Zoran Zaev expressed that people of Macedonia and China are good friends, and both sides enjoy close exchanges and cooperation. Macedonia stands ready to enhance cooperation in economy, trade and people-to-people and cultural exchanges towards China. The "16+1 cooperation" is very important for Macedonia's development, and the Macedonian side is ready to enhance cooperation with China under this framework. Macedonia welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in Macedonia's construction in infrastructure, especially in transportation and other projects.
